Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups of lotus root
  • 2 tablespoons of rice vinegar
  • 3 tablespoons of soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon of chili paste
  • 1 tablespoon of honey
  • 1 clove of garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon of sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon of grated ginger

Instructions
 

  • In a bowl combine rice vinegar, soy sauce, honey,chili paste, minced garlic, sesame oil, and grated ginger. Then mix well theseuntil the ingredients are thoroughly blended.
  • Heat a pan over medium heat and add the lotusroot slices. Stir-fry for approximately 5 minutes until they turn golden brown.
  • Reduce the heat and pour the sauce mixture over the lotus root. Stir gently to coat the slowly evenly.
  • Continue cooking for another 5 minutes until the sauce thickens and coats the lotus root slices.
  • Remove from heat and let it cool before transferring the sauce to a sterilized jar.
