Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound of ground beef
  • 2 cups of all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1/2 cup diced onion
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 cup diced bell pepper
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup of cold water
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
 

  • First of all Preheat your oven to 375°F 190°C. Now prepare baking sheet with parchment paper. In a mixing bowl, Combine the ingredients ground beef, diced green bell peppers, shredded cheddar cheese, diced onions, garlic powder, sliced jalapenos, chili powder, salt, and pepper together.
  • In a separate bowl, prepare the biscuit mix according to the instructions on the packaging, using milk as the liquid component. Stir until a soft dough forms. Now divide the biscuit dough into equal portions and flatten them into small circles.
  • Spoon a generous amount of the ground beef mixture onto the center of each biscuit round, ensuring not to overfill. Carefully fold the edges of the biscuit rounds over the filling, creating a pocket-like shape. Press the edges firmly to seal in the flavors.
  • Place the stuffed biscuit pockets onto theprepared baking sheet, leaving enough space between them for expansion. Bake inyour preheated oven for approximately 18–20 minutes, or until the biscuits aregolden brown.
  • Now remove the Alabama Pockets from the oven. Now allow to cool for a few minutes before serving. Serve hot and enjoy the explosion of flavors that awaits you!
