- ½ tsp of baking soda
- 2 tbsp granulated sugar
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
- 1 tsp of baking powder
- 1 cup of all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1 large egg
- ½ tsp of salt
In a mixing bowl, mix together the sugar, baking soda, flour, baking powder, and salt.
In a another bowl, mix the melted butter, buttermilk, vanilla extract, and egg until these well combined.
Gently fold the wet mixture into the dry ingredients, stirring until just combined. Lumps are okay.
Now you heat a skillet over medium heat and lightly grease it.
You pour ¼ cup of unsalted butter onto the skillet for each pancake.
Cook until bubbles form on the surface. Then you flip and cook until golden brown.
Repeat until all batter is used.
